As CEO of Wavemaker in the UK, Jason is responsible for the business of the media agency across locations London, Manchester and Edinburgh. Wavemaker comprises of more than 700 people and services a portfolio of clients including Vodafone, L’Oréal, Morrison’s, Compare the Market, Nationwide, BMW and Danone.
Wavemaker is a global billion dollar-revenue next generation agency that sits at the intersection of media, content and technology.
Jason was appointed CEO of award-winning media agency MEC (which merged globally with Maxus to form Wavemaker) in February 2016 following two years as a joint leadership team.
Prior to becoming CEO, Jason was the company’s Chief Operating Officer, during which time he built the agency’s digital, data, performance, investment and commercial teams. He is a respected voice in the industry and regularly sits on the jury of seasonal industry awards and contributes to a wide spectrum of publications. Jason has a deep-rooted belief in the value of education and continuous development and is committed to raising standards in the Advertising industry via his involvement with the IPA where he sits on both the Membership Committee and the IPA Council itself.
Jason’s early career was spent at the lifestyle data business CSL, working in the world of data and modelling and he was previously an economics teacher, before moving into the private sector in 1998.
