"The Park" at Cisco Live

“The Park” at Cisco Live 2020 - Cisco Live is well established as one of the most influential annual IT events in EMEAR with over 16,000 attendees. Reinforcing Cisco’s position as the leading IT Networking business in the EMEA region and the world. However, delivering the event is not the main challenge.
In 2019 we introduced ‘The Playground’ which was a new addition to the event experience. We had pushed the boundaries of expectation and again beaten all our key year-on-year metrics.
The challenge of improving on those metrics is a harder task each year.
With the motivation of the event theme, You Make Possible, driving us we challenged ourselves to prove and demonstrate what ‘Possible’ means in the context of Cisco, and to the world’s most accomplished and advanced network engineers and IT professionals.
The solution in 2020 was the creation of “The Park”, a 7,500 SQM world within Cisco Live for IT geeks to immerse themselves, be enlightened, involved and inspired. “The Park” was a place that showed attendees what ‘Possible’ looked like and challenged them to prove they “Make'' it so.
Throughout the ‘The Park’ every experience demonstrated the achievements and potential of Cisco technology, not just what the technology was. In addition to inspire the audience, the space took people away (for a moment) from the intense environment of seminars, breakouts and certification testing.
2020 was the most successful Cisco Live in the 30 year history of the event.
