Realising there was a demand for an everyday luxury hub, Verizon Media and The StoryLab created and launched The Spoils (thespoils.luxury
) for JLR, a brand new premium lifestyle platform. Targeting the time-poor with a penchant for the cool and covetable, The Spoils sought-out hidden gems to keep urban audiences in the know. At the heart of the partnership was a three-part video series, shot and co-produced by Verizon Media and The Storylab Studio. Each short film celebrated a different UK city with a duo of influencers with strong local ties. We followed the pairings as they drove their cities in the new Evoque, offering an insider’s guide to beloved city spots. Running from April to July 2019, the campaign delivered 276K unique users, and most importantly, the partnership directly drove over 3,500 users (140% over target) to request a test drive, a brochure, and/or configure a car on the Range Rover site.
