As VP, Head of Advertising and Partnerships at Discovery, Katie Coteman is responsible for managing ad sales, partnerships and digital sales for Discovery's 18 channel brands in the UK, including Discovery, TLC, Eurosport, Quest and newly acquired channels Really and Home. In 2019 she rebranded Discovery's ad sales team as 'superpowered by Discovery' to reflect the new scale of the business, connecting advertisers with passionate audiences across all platforms. Katie joined Discovery in 2011 as Director Brand Partnerships & Advertising following eleven years at Carat working in both Partnerships and Communications Planning delivering award winning work for clients as diverse as Cadbury, Diageo, Disney, General Motors and GCS (previously COI).
