A big believer in breaking down silos, Shula is a hybrid strategist who has won awards for both creative and media thinking. She joined Publicis as Global Head of Strategy at Spark Foundry in 2018, and oversees strategic output on a range of clients including Mondelez and Marriott International. Prior to Publicis she was Global Strategy Partner at Wavemaker where she led strategy for J&J, VISA and Danone, as well as co-authoring Wavemaker's planning approach. She began her communications career on British Airways at M&C Saatchi, followed by CDP working on Honda, Canon and Agent Provocateur before crossing over to JWT, where she spent 8 years leading a range of clients including Kelloggs, Diageo and Shell. In 2009 she moved client-side to Barclaycard, after which she joined FCB as strategy lead on Beiersdorf, Oreo, Diners Club and Hyundai. She is an advisory board member at London Film Academy and was a judge for Cannes, Effies and Campaign last year.
