Simon Kilby is Chief Revenue Officer for Radio in the UK division of Bauer Media Group, a position he has held since 2018. He is responsible for driving growth in Bauer's advertising revenues across a unified radio sales team, and delivering an integrated audio sales experience. In 2019 he oversaw the relaunch of Bauer's digital audio advertising platform Bauer InStream, offering advertisers creative and targeted digital audio advertising solutions in a brand safe environment within a network of trusted and influential Bauer-owned brands. Before joining Bauer six years ago, Simon was Commercial Director at Absolute Radio and held various commercial positions at Guardian News and Media. Bauer Radio is home to distinctive radio brands including Absolute Radio, KISS, Magic and Hits Radio Network, and the UK's number one digital radio station KISSTORY. Its stations reach over 18 million listeners every week, with an industry-leading 72% of listening on digital platforms. Bauer rapidly grew its digital portfolio in 2019, launching seven online-only stations including KISS Garage, and expanding its podcast collection with award-winning original titles. In recent years, the commercial radio industry has delivered record listener numbers and demonstrated resilience and innovation in the face of disruption from other digital services. Simon has worked at the forefront of this change and helped to drive the shift to digital listening.
