There are carbon emissions associated with every media impression delivered, which we must work together to reduce. As a first step at MediaCom, we developed the industry-first Carbon Calculator to measure the carbon emissions associated with media plan which was first used by British Gas last year. As a major source of emissions, the energy sector is key to tackling this crisis, and so British Gas’s “This Is What Sustainability Looks Like” campaign demonstrates how British Gas can make net zero achievable, positioning the brand as trustworthy as we head into an uncertain future.
