This transformative year saw Mail Metro Media’s investment in innovation, commitment to culture, and unmatched motivation come to fruition and produce some outstanding results for the business. Internally, we launched a range of initiatives to supercharge our culture, including breakfasts with the CRO, a volunteering policy, and mental health first aid training. We also appointed a Head of ED&I, driving change across the business with awareness activations and seasonal activities. Our audio, video and social performance grew exponentially thanks to new strategies and innovations led internally. We hit number one in the Spotify and Apple Music charts with our ‘Trial Of…’ series and became the biggest news publisher on TikTok globally, with north of 11 million followers! We also won a series of prestigious awards, smashed commercial goals, and supported the wider industry. But our crowning jewel of 2023 was being voted the Best Media Owner to Work With by the industry in The IPA’s Digital Media Owners Autumn Survey!
