Samsung aimed to win over Gen Z smartphone users in the UK and Europe by highlighting the benefits of its Z Flip 4 phone for TikTok. TikTok is a critical platform for Gen Z in terms of content creation and sharing and Samsung leveraged this by showcasing how Z Flip 4 makes better Tik Toks especially in music! To achieve this, Samsung partnered with TikTok, Syco Entertainment, and Universal Music Group to launch StemDrop, a music collaboration platform for TikTok users to showcase their talent and create unique hits. StemDrop was a hit with tens of billions of views and millions of TikToks created so far. And it drove business results, with a massive increase in searches for Samsung on TikTok and more than double the number of Z Flip 4 phones shipped to Europe vs the Z Flip 3
