The way consumers search, discover and evaluate information is rapidly evolving as AI-powered platforms become a common starting point alongside traditional search. As more answers are delivered directly within AI interfaces, publishers and advertisers face a fundamental challenge: maintaining visibility, value and commercial relevance in environments where discovery happens without a click.

To address this shift, Future launched Future Optic, a proprietary AI visibility product that enables brands to become cited sources within AI discovery environments including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other LLM-powered platforms. Future is uniquely positioned to deliver this innovation as the first UK specialist media publisher to partner with OpenAI, reflecting the authority, depth and trust embedded across its specialist brands. Results demonstrate clear impact. In a flagship campaign with Samsung, Future Optic increased visibility across non-brand prompts from 94% to 99%, generating over 20,000 AI citations in four months. Visibility for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra grew by 22.8%, alongside a 45% uplift in purchase consideration across the UK, France and Spain. This proves Future Optic can measurably influence AI discovery in what was previously a black box.
